Job Description
As a Credit Controller at Albion Fine Foods, you will be responsible for managing our customer portfolio and ensuring smooth operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Communication: Ensure clear communication with customers regarding payment terms and credit limits.
2. Credit Management: Implement and manage credit checks for new and existing customers, ensuring timely recoveries.
3. Dispute Resolution: Collaborate with the Sales Team to resolve payment disputes and improve overall customer experience.
4. Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of all credit control activities, providing insights for process improvements.
5. Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with customers to effectively manage and recover debts.
6. Process Improvement: Review and improve our debt recovery procedures to stay ahead of industry standards.
7. Banking and Allocations: Manage daily banking and allocations on customer accounts with precision.
What You Bring to the Table
To succeed in this role, you will need recent previous experience in a Credit Control position, excellent communication skills, confidence and resilience, analytical mindset, negotiation prowess, proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook, and time management and organizational skills.
