Your tasks
* Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
* Educate staff on due diligence and safety responsibilities.
* Drive sustainability in Health, Safety, Energy, and Environment.
* Oversee risk assessments, training, and awareness for chemicals/materials.
* Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits with follow-up actions.
* Maintain and update key system documents and support environmental goals.
* Advise on occupational health, safety, and ergonomic issues.
* Inspect facilities, report issues, and recommend improvements.
* Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
* Design and deliver health, safety, and environmental training.
* Complies with all company policies, procedures and guidelines including Brose code of conduct, FIRST, IDEAS, health and safety, environment, quality, discipline, grievance and equal opportunities.
Your Profile
* Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety
* 3-5 years relevant work experience in Health and Safety in Manufacturing industry
* NEBOSH certificate
* Have a proven track record of improving health and safety culture within the business.
* Be able to multitask and support other departments
* Good communication and able to work independently and be confident in decision making.
* Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
