Selwyn House is an independent school offering education from Y1–8 for boarding and day girls and a co-educational preschool. Our education is based on the International Baccalaureate programme (PYP), which teaches continuous inquiry. This teaches our students the skills, knowledge, courage, and optimism to become caring and active learners.
Our school is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic practitioner who is passionate about girls' education. The successful candidate will be NZ registered and able to demonstrate the ability to effectively inspire and improve learning outcomes for tamariki while understanding and supporting our school's unique nature. The ability to create the best possible learning environment, be culturally responsive with excellent communication skills, and build and maintain relationships with whānau, ākonga, and staff is essential.
We require someone to teach Spanish to Year 1 through to Year 8 students who has expert classroom practices and a willingness to continue to learn collaboratively with colleagues. Beginning teachers are welcome to apply.
