We are retained by a large insurance company to find an in-house solicitor, with a specialist skillset in contentious landlord and tenant matters. If you are keen to work in a quasi in-house role, focused on dealing with claims that have a focus on contentious landlord and tenant matters, this is the role for you. The company is very flexible, offering hybrid working, opportunities to progress and a hugely competitive salary.
As the in-house solicitor at this company, you’ll play a key role in managing a range of contentious landlord and tenant cases. You will work closely with the company’s clients, providing expert advice and support in all aspects of this work, including possession proceedings and eviction notices, while being fully integrated with our in-house team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of contentious landlord and tenant matters, including possession proceedings and eviction notices.
* Prepare and issue court proceedings for possession, attend hearings, and represent clients in possession-related matters.
* Liaise directly with clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and strong client relationships.
* Keep up-to-date with changes in landlord and tenant law, and provide training and updates to the team where necessary.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor, with the ability to make strategic decisions when it comes to litigation and the litigious process. You’ll need full experience of the Civil Procedure Rules and the court process. You’ll also be able to manage a busy caseload and be part of a thriving team.
On offer is the opportunity to join a fantastic team and company, offering hybrid working, part-time working opportunities, and great benefits. You’ll be offered a competitive salary and benefits package which includes a bonus.
