Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surveying Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the property industry, working on real projects and learning from industry experts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Collection: Assist in the collection and analysis of data related to retail properties.
2. Property Inspections: Conduct on-site inspections of retail properties to gather relevant information and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
3. Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation, including site plans and desktop surveys.
4. Market Research: Perform market research and analysis to support property valuations, acquisitions, and development projects.
5. Client Interaction: Support senior surveyors in client meetings and presentations, providing accurate and relevant information as needed.
6. Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, file management, and scheduling.
Qualifications
1. Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in real estate, geography, or a related field.
2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with GIS software is a plus.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present information clearly and concisely.
4. Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
5. Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
6. Motivation: A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Previous internship or work experience in surveying, real estate, or a related field.
