The Opportunity Join Holcim as a remote Product Sustainability Manager, on a 12 month FTC where youll play a critical role in driving sustainable innovation across our ready-mixed concrete products. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives that reduce environmental impact, enhance circular economy practices, and align with our Net Zero ambitions. Key Responsibilities: Environmental Impact Assessment: Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) to evaluate the environmental footprint of our products, from raw materials to end-of-life and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) generation Sustainability Strategy: Develop and implement sustainability strategies that position Aggregate Industries as a leader in responsible, Net Zero-driven construction. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all sustainability initiatives comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, identifying optimal routes to market for sustainable products. Performance Tracking: Monitor sustainability progress, analyse key metrics, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve our environmental performance. Carbon Management: Oversee the accuracy and traceability of the ready-mixed concrete carbon calculator, ensuring alignment with Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and third-party verification. Sustainability Reporting: Fulfil carbon report requests for projects, tenders, and live contracts, ensuring timely and high-quality presentations. Internal & External Advocacy: Build sustainability case studies, support sales and specification teams in engaging clients on carbon reduction, and represent Aggregate Industries at industry forums and events. Who You Are You are a Product Sustainability Manager and a sustainability-driven professional with a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of environmental impact reduction. Your ability to analyse complex data, drive change, and influence key stakeholders makes you an ideal fit for this high-profile role. Detail-oriented, data-driven, and capable of handling high-level ambiguity. Strong analytical skills, with experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Proven track record in sustainability, environmental product management, or a related field within the construction or building materials industry. Expertise in regulatory compliance, carbon reporting, and sustainability benchmarking. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across multiple business areas.
