We are looking to appoint a Lead Teacher of Mathematics on a 1 FTE basis to join our team at George Pindar School. This is a permanent position and part time working would be considered.

Our Maths department comprises supportive colleagues with a range of experience including highly experienced longstanding colleagues, those who have taken maths as a second specialism and those who are much newer to the profession. The department is always keen to engage in professional development to be at the forefront in developments in maths and has worked with the Trust Director and Trust colleagues to devise an engaging and ambitious curriculum.
The post holder will take on additional responsibilities such as leading KS3, KS4 or disadvantaged student outcomes, for which leadership time will be given. You will play a key part in raising standards through the modelling of your own outstanding teaching and supporting the professional development of your colleagues, and will be able to evidence a track record of high quality teaching outcomes.
