Job Description
The opportunity available is for an experienced and results-driven Senior photographer with managerial experience to work alongside the Creative Lead as we begin our journey to elevate & transform the department, setting the standard and working with stakeholders to enable results.
The candidate will need to be passionate about delivering results and elevating the customer experience. This is a fast-paced environment with huge potential for being able to identify and solve problems, adding value to the business and making a huge impact.
The Senior photographers, will have photographers as direct reports and will report to the Team Lead.
* Overseeing our imagery standard & quality.
* Overseeing Projects within the studio from concept to asset delivery.
* To be commercial and make the right decisions to benefit the studio and wider business.
* Confidently lead, direct and shoot; of mannequin, still life, flat lay and model.
* Ensure all Frasers group image guidelines are met.
* Follow creative seasonal updates and creative direction within the brands we sell across all fascia's.
* Keep accurate shoot records and manage asset files within the team.
* Working alongside senior Retoucher’s to produce the best images possible.
* One to One check ins and progress trackers.
* Conducting FFR’s for Direct Reports.
* Sign off holidays via Business tools.
* Creating Rotas & Schedules for Direct Reports.
* Training and development plans for onboarding new starters.
* Quality Control of all shot Imagery across all facias.
* Assistance with the hiring process including interview with TL.
* Challenging current techniques to be at the cutting edge of photography.
* Maintaining the inventory of photography equipment.
* Briefing management (TL) on all processes, projects and issues.
Qualifications
* An outstanding knowledge of Photography and lighting Techniques.
* Good knowledge of retouching processes.
* Top level knowledge of Capture One and its tools.
* Excellent teamwork with other senior members of the team.
* Ability to lead a small team, to maximise quality and quantity produced.
* Advanced level of knowledge of Adobe Creative suite.
* Excellent knowledge of camera systems; from DSLR to Mirrorless.
* A good knowledge of digital workflow from camera to post production.
* Great communication skills, to liase with all members of the team from entry level through to management.
* Finding the strengths of their Direct Reports and delegating work appropriately.
* Organising of Rota's to ensure adequate staffing levels.
* The ability to train and guide DR’s as well as themselves.
* Can work independently with excellent comm’s to TL and management.

Our Recruitment Team will be reviewing applications and all candidates will receive a response, whether you are successful or unsuccessful. Shortlisted applicants may be asked to confirm a few key details before being booked in for a first stage interview with the Recruiter- this will be behaviourally focussed and centred around how you align with our Culture and Values. If successful we anticipate two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team which will be more technically focussed and could include a presentation/task so we can see your skills in action.
