We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in Barnoldswick. You will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day care, development, and well-being of children and young people. Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Approximately 168 hours per month (38.8 hours per week equivalent)
Salary: £12.50 per hour (unqualified), rising to £13.00 per hour (qualified)
Sleep-In Rate: £50 per night

Support Worker Key Responsibilities:
* Provide consistent and compassionate care, fostering a secure and supportive environment for young people.
* Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.
* Support young people in developing social, emotional, and life skills.
* Participate in outdoor therapeutic activities aimed at promoting personal growth and healing.
* Contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and regular reviews for young people.
* Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all individuals in the home, including administering medications and promoting good health practices.
* Maintain accurate records and reports in line with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential; full training is provided at no cost to the employee.
* Previous experience in residential child care is desirable.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Training and Development:
* Participation in NVQ training is required, with full support provided.
* Ongoing professional development training will be offered, with an expectation to dedicate some personal time to study.
