The role involves providing physiotherapy services in acute care, with a focus on respiratory, elderly care, and general medicine settings. Responsibilities: As a Locum Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy assessments and treatments to patients, particularly in the areas of respiratory care, elderly care, and general medicine. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualised rehabilitation plans, support patient mobility, and assist with therapeutic exercises. You will also manage a caseload of patients, ensuring that appropriate clinical decisions are made, and contribute to maintaining accurate patient records. The role will involve identifying patient needs, addressing barriers to understanding, and ensuring that patients and their families receive clear communication and education regarding their care plans. Qualifications and Experience: Current and relevant HCPC Registration. Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy. Proven experience in acute care, particularly within respiratory, elderly care, or general medicine settings. Excellent clinical reasoning and caseload management skills.
