What you'll do As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will have the opportunity to be at the front and centre of the relationship with existing and prospective Vodafone Business customers in the UK. The Commercial Management practice conducts presales commercial management for our Vodafone Business UK Public Sector and Secure customers throughout the Bid lifecycle. In this role you will be working on some of the highest profile deals across Vodafone Business UK worth up to £100m whilst developing and leading a team of commercial management professionals, fostering an environment of continuous growth Establish a curious and growth focussed culture within your team, whilst able to develop and coach existing and emerging talent and manage a pipeline of deals worth £0.5bn. Public Sector Pre-sales expertise, deal shaping inclusive of role modelling sales/bid methodology, defining commercial strategy and becoming a trusted advisor for C-suite stakeholders both internally and externally. Be able to negotiate at executive level and be accountable for strategic outcomes and overall business performance. Build strong relationships and stakeholder management, working collaboratively with many different areas of the Business and working directly with our customers and suppliers. With advanced communication skills you will be able to influence at C-suite level and provide commercial thought leadership and strong decision-making skills. Who you are Extensive experience in a B2B Commercial Management practice. Deep understanding of Public Sector procurement, SC (Security Clearance) accredited and working knowledge of security industry through a Telco lens. Proven commercial acumen achieved through leading high performing teams within matrix organisations. Demonstratable experience in strategic planning and executive negotiation, preferably in the telco/system integration or professional services sectors. Strong market awareness, ability to translate into course of action, analytical in approach and design to strive from continuous improvement. A strategic thinker, with strong problem-solving abilities and an ability to drive improved business outcomes and a tolerance to managing risk to support differentiation. Growth mindset, open to taking on new challenges and identifying and implementing business improvement activities, with innovation and an entrepreneurial outlook.
