The Role:
Boeing is seeking an experienced professional to join the team as a Procurement Agent, who will provide team lead support for both direct and indirect spend for various commodities. This role will ensure the implementation of best practices in procurement processes, drive cost savings, enhance supplier relationships and performance while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Negotiates and contracts for products, services and technologies.
* Engages stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
* Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
* Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
* Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance.
* Mitigates risks and issues.
* Initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies.
* Support to the team through coaching, training and development.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
* Experience in SAP/Ariba.
* Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Ability to acquire UK SC security clearance.
* Full UK driving license.
