As a Senior Dietetic Assistant, you will support our expert Dietitians in delivering exceptional nutritional care to patients within the oncology and haematology inpatient wards and outpatient clinics at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Main duties of the job Join the dynamic dietetic team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, part of a team of over 50 dietitians across various specialties. You'll work closely with colleagues from Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy to support the nutritional needs of oncology and haematology patients. As a Senior Dietetic Assistant, you will independently manage a patient caseload, take anthropometric assessments (e.g., weights, heights, mid arm circumferences), and contribute to developing personalised nutritional plans. You'll support patients on acute wards, including those with complex conditions like cancer, blood disorders, and those receiving radiotherapy. This part-time (18.75 hours per week) role offers opportunities for personal and professional development with a salary ranging from £26,530 to £29,114 per year, Pro Rata.
