We are working with a highly successful, Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" school in Hounslow to find an exceptional Resistant Materials Teacher to join their thriving Design and Technology department. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Resistant Materials lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE. Foster a love of design thinking, creativity, and practical skills in students. Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with national standards and departmental objectives. Utilise a well-equipped workshop environment to ensure a safe and productive learning space. Contribute to the overall success of the Design and Technology department. Play a vital role in the professional development of colleagues (optional, but desirable). You are a perfect fit if you: Possess a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design and Technology with a specialism in Resistant Materials. Have a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience, preferably within a secondary school setting. Demonstrate a strong understanding of current curriculum trends and assessment practices in Design and Technology. Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Are passionate about creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters student curiosity and innovation. Are a team player who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment.
