Derbyshire Dales District Council has a successful track record in delivering new affordable homes across the district.
The post holder of this exciting new position will support the housing enabling and development function, where our key priority is to boost the supply of affordable housing and delivering the £3.8m funding recently awarded to the authority following a successful bid in the LAHF3 round.
Based within the Housing Team you will work with colleagues enabling new affordable homes and developing new council housing, and alongside those delivering estate regeneration, tackling empty homes, and providing homelessness services, housing advice and support. You will be part of an award winning and dedicated team, working corporately with colleagues across the Council.

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in enabling and development over a minimum period of 2 years. Previous experience of working in the provision of traveller sites would also be a distinct advantage but is not essential. This is a real opportunity for the right person to utilise their skills and make a real difference.
