We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Representative to join our busy Internal Sales team for a one year contract to cover maternity leave. This role will involve liaising with a diverse customer base across Europe. Working hours - 37.5 hour per week with flexible start and finish times. Summary The Internal Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with new and existing customers, managing inbound and outbound sales inquiries, and supporting external sales teams. The role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment. Internal Sales and Lead Qualification: - Handle incoming inquiries via phone, email, or web. - Collaborate with the external sales team to coordinate customers proposals and follow-ups. - Identify and review new sales opportunities and follow up to understand details more thoroughly to appropriately allocate. - Account Management responsibility for identified customers; this will involve being the key point of contact for the account, attending customer visits, supporting with price negotiations, and handling any specific projects. - Continually develop technical product knowledge through training provided and engaging with other learning opportunities. - Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. - Work towards meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets. - Monitor and track performance against set KPIs, such as quotation response times and other targets that will be set. Sales/Customer Support: - Assist in preparing sales presentations, quotations, and customer reports updating them on key delivery information. - Act as the first point of contact for customers regarding product information, pricing, and availability. - Provide ongoing account support, addressing customers needs and resolving any issues. - Process, monitor and manage customer forecast and firm orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. - Liaise with internal departments such as distribution, planning, engineering and finance to ensure smooth order fulfillment. - Liaise with Shared Service Credit Control to support timely payments. Experience - Fluency in European language, ideally French or German, highly desirable - Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in an internal sales environment.
