Job Description:
As part of the People and Culture Partnering team, you will be managing the team providing key HR support throughout the employee lifecycle. From managing onboarding checks, maintaining our HR systems and manual processes, completing accurate payroll submissions and benefits provision, maintaining our learning management system, and maintaining the routine life cycle activities and queries that come from a dynamic wider workforce, this role leads the critical ‘engine room’ and core fundamentals for our employees, delivered with exceptional service, accuracy and pace.
Further, in this role, you will be managing the People and Culture Advisors who provide specialist employee relations and wider people performance and project support across the team.
As part of the wider People and Culture Partnering Team, this role ensures compliance with employment laws and other regulatory requirements, including the achievement of appropriate approvals, respecting confidentiality and dignity of others.

What you will be doing:
* Manage the changing priorities of workload amongst the team to ensure seamless execution of service is delivered accurately and efficiently to required timescales, providing solutions to potential blockers, supporting and motivating the team
* Advise on and sense check outputs to ensure legal, regulatory and process compliance, providing support and improvements where appropriate, ensuring diversity and inclusion is seamlessly threaded through all we do
* Role model outstanding service levels whilst managing expectations with SLAs and KPIs
* Provide escalation or signposting for complex queries or task management
* Manage HR systems configuration and improvements, and seek opportunity for efficiencies in manual records, including trackers
* Provide insight from people data reporting from our HR systems and manual information
* Ensure, through oversight, that all payroll information is accurately collated, recorded, and on time, on to our HR system and on data upload trackers for the payroll provider and manage the final approvals process
* Ensure the HR Fundamentals are in place, up to date, accessible to relevant audiences and used effectively, supporting the implementation of new initiatives
* Champion the development of the People Support team through leadership and coaching
* Play an intrinsic part in the wider People and Culture team in the UK and overseas, identifying and fulfilling opportunities for (inter)dependencies across the team to fulfil the team’s mission and vision
* Maintain supplier relationships and agreed service levels, including payroll, Visa management, pre joiner checks and HR systems provision
Requirements
* Experience working at management or supervisory level in a high paced, energetic HR Shared Services or HR central support team, able to motivate, prioritise and organise workload amongst team members
* Strong understanding of HR principles, processes and practices
* Able to demonstrate being a role model of company and team vision, mission values and behaviours, positively contributing to an open and inclusive culture
* Tech savvy with sound knowledge across a range of Microsoft Office and other products, including system admin and opportunity to optimise HR systems, preferably HiBob and Service Desks
* Outstanding communication skills - able to articulate complex issue solutions and coach others
* Attention to detail, consciousness and tenacious, yet motivating and engaging in style
* UK employment law and payroll awareness to ensure and promote legal compliance
* Able to maintain strict and absolute confidentiality at all times
* Curious - wanting to learn and grow
