An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Hairdressing to join our Construction, Professional & Service Industries team reporting to our Curriculum Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an extremely fast-paced growing department with outstanding industry facilities.
As a Lecturer in Hairdressing with Stockton Riverside College you will be responsible for the delivery and contribution to the design of our students learning programmes and assessments, to enable them to successfully achieve their qualification. You will act as the main point of contact with your students, providing feedback on progress as required, and to develop further links with local employers and to encourage the undertaking of work placements.
The ideal candidate will have industry experience, within the Hairdressing sector, and have a high level of drive and enthusiasm which is essential to effectively supporting learners in their journey. It is essential that the applicant be qualified to a minimum of Level 3.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for the area which is crucial to engage and motivate our students. An ability to manage your time and resources efficiently and be able to work in a successful established team which is committed to continuous improvement.
