Job Title: Community Liaison Officer Hours: Full time, office based, Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. Location: Glastonbury Head Office Salary: £23,000 a year Closing date Friday 17th January 2024. Candlelight Care are looking for an experienced Community Liaison Officer to join our Live In Care team at our Head Office in Glastonbury, Somerset. This role will be mobile, the amount of time out in the community will be client dependant, the rest of the time you will be based in the office in Glastonbury, updating the Access system with any changes, and liaising with the deputy manager to ensure all changes and decisions have been communicated effectively. While in the office you will be dealing with incoming telephone calls, emails and assisting the office administrator and deputy manager with anything that can be reasonably requested. The role is to be the 'point of contact' for specific care related enquiries, whether from new enquiries, existing clients, live-in carers or the office team. Your knowledge of how to deliver care related tasks correctly within the community is essential as you will be advising and coaching the live-in carers accordingly. This will primarily be achieved through client reviews, ad hoc requirements and assessments when requested. Desirable Attributes: Experience in Care is essential. Experience in an administrative role is desirable. Experience in working with the Access system, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is desirable. Must be comfortable lone working when out in the community. The right candidate should have excellent time management and organisational skills. Excellent communication and an enthusiastic and motivated approach. Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care preferable but not essential. This role requires you to drive a car so car drivers with a valid license are essential. Please note this role is not suitable for international skilled worker sponsorship. Good Luck
