This care home offers residential care for those who need help with daily tasks and nursing care for people who have complex medical needs. It also provides residential dementia care where staff support residents to maintain their independence and individuality.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:
* Lead and inspire the team to deliver special experiences to residents, promoting choice and independence to make a positive difference to their lives.
* Achieve the highest possible standards of care and enhance the resident experience, ensuring that all company policies, regulations, Codes of Conduct, and care plans are adhered to.
* Work with the Home Manager to implement care home policies around standards of care, staff welfare, and training, and develop an excellent reputation.
* Develop personal contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors to enhance the residents' quality of life.
* Deputise in the overall management of the care home including the production of reports, budgets, and Quality of Life monitoring.
* Take responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents, and visitors to the Home, alerting the officers responsible to any hazards or potential risks to health and safety.
* Ensure the team attends training days and courses to maintain learning records and develop individuals.

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £21.50 per hour, with an annual salary of £43,043 per annum.
