The ILR and Funding Administrator is the first point of contact for general finance and Individual Learner queries. Reporting to the Finance Officer, the role holder will work closely with other finance staff to deliver all aspects of GLL’s financial and Individual Learner requirements.
As ILR & Funding Administrator you can expect to be involved in:
* Providing operational management support to the ILR & Funding Manager in close liaison with other staff within the GLL team, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with University, the ESFA and other funding regulations.
* Monitoring GLL’s funding procedures and processes to ensure they are fully compliant with University and external guidelines and administered accurately and efficiently.
* Working closely with the ILR & Funding Manager to ensure that the Individual Learner Return is accurate and submitted in line with the Education and Skills Funding Agency’s timetable.
What will you bring to the role?
* GCSE English and Maths (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
* Substantial experience and understanding of spreadsheet and database use and a commitment to continuously review processes to improve them.
* Previous experience in a similar funding/IT role implementing procedures/new software and experience of answering related queries.
