Accounts Payable Clerk Location: Outskirts of Norwich Job Type: Full-time Reed Accountancy Norwich are looking for Accounts Payable Clerk to join our clients finance team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining accurate financial records and controls related to accounts payable. Day-to-day of the role: Process incoming invoices, ensuring they are coded and matched correctly. Prepare and perform payment runs. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies. Communicate with suppliers and respond to inquiries. Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and payment records. Assist with month-end closing procedures. Collaborate with other departments to improve payment processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role. Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. Experience using Sage. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
