Working within the Customer Facing Tools team, you will be responsible for managing an automated CI test suite that performs end-to-end testing of our enterprise scale device management solution that involves multiple complex software packages and integrations with cloud services enabling RFID Reader configuration. An ideal candidate should have an open mindset, be flexible, focused on quality, and open to switching to different projects. We work in a multinational environment, so communicative English in speaking and writing is a must.

As our Automated Test Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by:
* Designing and building automated test cases for an enterprise scale device management solution involving multiple complex software packages and integrations with cloud services.
* Managing test documentation using Test Rail.
* Generating test reports and communicating bug reports to the rest of the team.
* Executing manual test cases when necessary.
* Designing, documenting, and implementing test cases to fully exercise software features developed by the team, including mocking external endpoints where required.
* Performing some manual testing as needed.
* Compiling test reports and providing feedback on bug reports to the team, as well as maintaining the CI environment.
What we will love about your background:
* Working knowledge of different test methodologies such as data-driven and behavior-driven testing.
* Experience defining test cases based on feature requirements and managing the product test plan.
* Experience writing automated test cases.
* Experience testing Java applications using Junit, TestNG, and an SDK.
* Experience performing end-to-end testing using a suitable framework such as Playwright or Selenium WebDriver.
* Demonstrable knowledge of JSON data structures.
Your Experience and Education include:
* 5 years of experience working in a software development environment.
* Legally eligible to work in the UK.
* Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (engineering, computer science) or demonstrable equivalent experience.
