Residential Support Worker
Location: Horizon House / Sunrise House (BD1)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (structured rota)
Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour
Sleep-ins: £50 per night (~£6,000 per year)
Annual Salary: £31,350 (including sleep-ins)

Future Care Horizons provides specialist care for children aged 7-18 with learning disabilities, communication difficulties, and complex needs. We offer a safe, structured, and supportive environment where young people can thrive.
We are looking for compassionate, resilient individuals who want to make a real difference. No prior experience is required, as we provide full training in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). There are also clear opportunities for career progression.
Shift Pattern (Repeating Cycle)
* Day 1: 10:00 – 22:30 (Sleep-in)
* Day 2: 07:00 – 22:30 (Sleep-in)
* Day 3: 07:00 – 10:30 (Rest of the day off)
* Days 4 – 6: Rest days
The Role
* Support children with daily routines, education, and social development
* Encourage independence and positive behaviour
* Build relationships with young people, families, and professionals
* Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
* Maintain records and contribute to care plans
Requirements
* Level 3/4 Diploma in Children’s Care (or willingness to train)
* Patience, empathy, and resilience
* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
* Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
* Applicants must be 21 or over due to regulations
