We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the West Midlands area. A day in the life of a Regional Sales Manager: Reporting to a Regional Director, as a Regional Sales Manager, you are primarily responsible for the growth of sales within your region through effective account management and new business growth. You will be responsible for the ongoing management of regional and national accounts within your area and targeted on the growth of these, along with introducing new customers to our company. You will also: Manage current accounts to assure sales volume grows year after year; Identify, engage, plan and develop new regional & national accounts; Develop all current accounts and business opportunities by working with other regional resources; Oversee account compliance to ensure company agreements are maximized to their full potential; Sell into target accounts, identify prospects and create new ideas to generate revenue and new opportunities; Oversee opportunities and leads through opportunity pipeline reporting; Represent the company at conferences and trade shows; Oversee opportunities progression and lead through opportunity pipeline reporting; Complete monthly reports on revenue vs. goal forecasts and inform management on new regional new developments; Inform any customer issues to Service Centre Manager for suitable action and resolve collaboratively; Resolve any issues and ensure the highest level of quality service by coordinating with centre staff and management; and Resolve client issues with help from centre, regional and corporate staff. You need to be highly self-motivated with a hunger to be successful and possess a winner’s mentality along with the right attitude for this role. This remote role requires someone with good organisational skills and the ability to multitask. Your drive will come from a desire to achieve results and play your part in a wider team. You will need a proven track record in regional sales along with strong references. You will also have: Proven work experience as an External Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role (minimum 3 years); Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including, procurement director and business owner levels; Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Sales-i, Salesforce) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel); Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail; Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities; and Strong verbal and written communication skills What’s in it for you?
