Sunderland City Council are seeking to recruit a Strategic Finance Manager to work within our arms-length organisation, Sunderland Care and Support.
Sunderland Care and Support (SCAS) provides a wide range of social care services, including:
* Sunderland Telecare
* Farmborough Intermediate Care Centre
* Recovery at Home Service
* Community Equipment Service
* Home Improvement Agency Community Resource Centres
* Short-break Services
* Supported Living Schemes
* Registered Residential Services
* Support Time and Recovery and Outreach Services
* Sunderland Shared Lives
To support the team and vision, we are looking for an experienced Strategic Finance Manager who aligns with the core Sunderland City Council and SCAS values. In the role, you will provide strategic financial leadership and advice to the SCAS board, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Management Team and you will have an integral role within the Council. Whilst sitting within Sunderland Council’s purview, you will have autonomy within the role and be a key member of the SCAS board.
