Local Network Execution - Assistant Manager Full time, Permanent We are looking for an Local Network Execution Assistant Manager to work within our Fleet Network Terminal Efficiency team at our Ipswich planning office. They will principally be focused on vessel schedule reliability & efficiency within the network and will report on the general situation of their assigned services, vessel & area, At MSC UK, our success is a result of the skill and hard work of all of our team members. Identify and prepare vessel contingencies for raising to network area managers Identify operational and or area bottlenecks Daily Schedule updating management Ensure end of regions are updated to match actual last port of region when rotation changes are made that impact the original declared proforma EOR Ensure within the 5 week window that all departures are either assigned a vessel or declared blank sailing Identify all TBN sailings and discuss actions to take, updating with an official vessel sailing or declare as blank sailing Ensure and manage schedule coordination between all parties for either vessel changes between services or within a specific service. Drive and facilitate the organization’s strategy for schedule reliability within the network Ensure continuous analyse of data to identify any areas of possible improvements Ensure that the schedules of the vessels are managed to optimum reliability while taking into consideration the constraints of the network. Assist Planning teams in co-ordinating the capacity figures against network time restraints. Monitor and manage the accuracy of information provided in terms of uploading and validation of the schedule platform. Manage vessel performance against Proforma / Live Schedules Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with All vessel schedule coordinators, Planners, Port Captains and Network Area Managers. Escalation of key reportable issues Constant Cost analysis Monitoring of non-compliance or deviation by the vessels from an agreed instruction to be escalated to FNTE Network & Efficiency for further suggestions/recommendation If you feel that this is the next step in your career, please apply now.
