Summary:
Reporting into the Social Lead, this role will help to execute SailGP’s organic social strategy across all major platforms as well as leading on day-to-day delivery of this strategy. Working closely with the wider content team and other internal stakeholders, you’ll be required to ideate, plan, and publish social-first content that aligns with the league’s growth goals and resonates with fans.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Social Lead in developing and executing a comprehensive publishing strategy aligned with the league’s overarching growth strategy.
2. Assist in the development of a content calendar and distribution schedule to ensure consistent and engaging content across all social media platforms.
3. Develop a detailed understanding of our product and identify opportunities to create engaging content and drive growth.
4. Keep up to date with social media best practices, trends, tools, technologies and platform updates.
5. Support community growth across SailGP global social media platforms through community management and proactive fan engagement.
6. Contribute to world-class coverage of SailGP race weekends.
7. Brief in social content to internal design and video teams, creating social media assets using templates and digital tools as needed.
8. Light administrative responsibilities in support of the team and department, including - but not limited to - ongoing maintenance of project management tool Monday.com.
