About this opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a well-driven individual to play a major support role in the delivery of significant projects from inception through construction to handover as an Assistant Project Manager.
A normal day would include:
1. Stakeholder and Communications Management: clear and concise day-to-day communication with project stakeholders, understanding the importance of verbal communication over electronic forms.
2. Budgetary and Cost Control: prepare, agree, and monitor the project budget, tracking invoiced schedules and project cashflows.
3. Scope Management: preparation and agreement of the initial Project Brief, comparing and tracking the required involvement during the project against the original briefing document.
4. Schedule Management: management of the Project Programme on a specific job-by-job basis.
5. Risk and Issue Management: undertaking risk workshops with stakeholders, proposing mitigating circumstances, and monitoring through the project duration.
6. Contract Management and Procurement: procurement workshops, preparation, and agreement of appointment letters, scope of services, and fee schedules for respective disciplines.
7. Quality Management: ensuring quality in both personal and project progression, utilizing the company’s documentation during the project lifecycle.
8. Leadership: delivering through motivating those around and challenging stakeholders as the project progresses.
How you will be supported:
All members are appointed both a line manager to obtain instructions and job tasks from, and a mentor who will be a secondary point of contact during the apprenticeship. Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.

What you should have to apply:
1. Minimum 5 GCSEs at Level 5 and above including Maths and English.
2. Desirable: A levels/A2 levels/BTEC 3 or experience in a professional or administrative environment.
