About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Transport Shift Manager to join our team at our Currys site in Newark. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dedicated transport operation for the GXO Currys network.
Job Description
* Work collaboratively with the transport team to manage and coordinate daily operations, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality service delivery
* Manage and resolve issues proactively, escalating concerns to senior management as necessary
* Maintain accurate records and reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve process efficiency and productivity
Requirements and Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar role, with expertise in transport management, leadership, and team development
* National CPC certification (or equivalent) and knowledge of relevant transportation regulations
* Strong analytical skills, with ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business results
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
