About The Role EA / Project Support
Are you the person who is always organising your group events? The one who always looks after the passports on holidays? The person who everyone goes to when something needs to get done, and always knows when their phone contract is up for renewal, always negotiating the best contract for what you know that you need?
If you are the person who has an excel spreadsheet and you are interested in applying your skills in a fast-paced growing environment with front line experience and great development opportunities, we would like to hear from you.
The Pilot Group companies are growing, with multiple projects running at a fast pace. The COO and the wider Exec team are exploring all opportunities to grow revenues whilst improving efficiencies. This can range from simple process improvements to employee engagement surveys to new system implementation projects.
Whilst this would include some administrative support for the COO (e.g. diary management), this role will be integral to all projects. You will be working across multiple projects at one time, happy to get stuck in and multitask.
We are looking for someone already involved in project support, ideally across operations and efficiencies. You may be a PA or EA who wants to be more hands-on.
We are keen to get the right candidate who demonstrates the right attitude and capabilities. We need someone who can display high levels of initiative and common sense. Excellent organisational skills are a given but quality control and attention to detail aren’t always. Someone who likes a structured order and has the initiative to pre-empt problems and find realistic solutions.
What we would provide in return is a variety of tasks – there are lots of exciting projects to get involved in, and development. You would be working with a COO who recognises raw talent and has developed rising stars from junior administrators into project management roles.
Tasks Would Likely Involve (EA / Project Support)
1. Understanding and mapping of processes
2. Identification of areas for improvement
3. Management of excel spreadsheets and reports
4. Preparation and chasing of meeting actions
5. Diary management and other ad hoc admin tasks
6. Meeting preparation and preparation of staff communications
The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate (EA / Project Support)

4. Diligence, and attention to quality and detail
5. They are a self-starter and can self-manage to a certain extent
