Job Duties:
The English and Maths GCSE Intervention Tutor will provide targeted support to students preparing for their GCSE exams in English and Maths. This includes developing tailored lesson plans, conducting one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions, assessing students' progress, and providing feedback to help improve their understanding and performance.
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Experience in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level.
Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at GCSE level.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple students effectively.
Experience in delivering intervention programmes for students facing challenges in English and Maths.
Working Conditions:
The English and Maths GCSE Intervention Tutor will work Part-Time hours. The role may involve travelling to different schools or learners homes within the Greater London area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
