Proven experience in teaching and leading within a SEND setting. Strong understanding of autism, ASC, and behaviour management strategies. Outstanding organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. The ability to inspire and develop a multidisciplinary team.Desirable Experience and Qualifications: Additional SEN qualifications (or willingness to train). Experience with Ofsted inspections and achieving high regulatory standards. Expertise in designing and implementing bespoke curriculum.Responsibilities of the Lead teacher/Headteacher: Lead the day-to-day organisation and strategic development of the school. Oversee the deployment and performance management of all teaching and support staff. Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring compliance with all safeguarding standards. Develop inclusive, innovative curriculum tailored to individual pupil needs. Monitor and enhance the quality of teaching, pupil outcomes, and school experiences. Foster strong relationships with families, local authorities, and external agencies. Lead Ofsted preparations and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
