About Our Client
My client is a charity looking for a Personal Assistant and Governance Assistant based in Warwick.
Job Description
3. Scheduling Board and Committee Meetings in Trustees diaries
4. Co-ordinating meetings on behalf of the Chair of Trustees
5. Responding to requests from Trustees in the form of information, meetings, assistance with travel etc
6. Arranging meeting venues and accommodation for Trustee meetings and events.
7. Work closely with the Board of Trustees and Committee Chairs to develop and set agendas for meetings, ensuring that they reflect both the operational and strategic priorities of the charity.
8. Administering the recruitment of Trustees
9. Overseeing the Trustee induction process
10. Responsible for the compliance of charity law, including maintaining the register of members, the register of trustees / directors and secretaries, the register of trustees' and secretary's interests;
11. Ensuring that the board of charity trustees are aware of the requirements to comply with the relevant codes such as the charity's Code of Conduct for Charity Trustees and the Charities Governance Code;
12. Responsible for the filing all relevant statutory returns and information with the Charities Regulator (e.g. annual reports, changes to the charity's details and/or trustees' details);
The Successful Applicant
13. Experience working as a Personal Assistant is desirable
14. Experience working in governance is desirable
15. Great communication skills
16. Enjoys working under pressure
17. Can commute to Warwick (there may be some flexibility)
18. Can be immediately available or on 2 weeks notice max
