Your key responsibilities will include: Utilising your expertise in freight forwarding to maintain operational efficiency and top-tier customer service. Building and nurturing strong relationships with internal teams, external partners (airlines, customers, freight forwarders), and stakeholders. Managing the interface between Transport & Operations and export facilities. Leading the Warehouse Operative team, overseeing training, inductions, sickness cover, and holiday planning. Managing document processing and shift preparations. Supporting the development of risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Offering out-of-hours support when necessary to ensure continued operations. What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking someone with a background in Airfreight, transport and logistics and a proven ability to manage warehouse operations. You’ll need to be organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under pressure. Key skills and experience include: Must-Have: In-depth knowledge of the transport and logistics industry In-depth knowledge of the Airfreight industry Experience in worldwide freight forwarding operations Familiarity with CAA regulations Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with stakeholders Commercial awareness and solid decision-making abilities Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems Desirable (but not essential - training will be provided): AVSEC Level CM Trained CTC clearance We value flexibility, a friendly attitude, and a professional appearance, with a drive to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
