CMM Quality Inspector Datum Tool Design requires a Quality inspector to join its diverse Inspection team based at its site in Lisburn. DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES: Set up, calibrate, and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines to measure parts and components accurately. Using engineering drawings, specifications, etc. for reference, inspect detailed machined parts and/or assemblies for conformity to design parameters. Conduct CMM inspection of parts. Assy Inspection with CMM, Romer Arm and Laser Tracker. Jig Building/Setting of assemblies etc. Reports/Documentation associated with quality/inspection. Maintain working knowledge of PC DMIS / SA CMM inspection software. Perform manual inspection using calibrated inspection equipment. Periodically perform packaging tasks as / when required. Participate in personal development / training. Complete any other reasonable duties required by the company. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Highly organized with a high level of integrity. Trustworthy and willing to work as part of a team. Reading & interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications. Proficient in manual measuring equipment. Previous work experience with a wide range of digital measuring equipment incl. CMM in a manufacturing environment. The ability to understand quality issues and determine suitable outcomes via reasonable analysis. Previous Laser Tracker / CMM experience would be advantageous.
