As a SEND Campus Co-ordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that all our students with special educational needs thrive and meet their full potential. Providing them with skills and support in their learning journey.
As SEND Campus Co-ordinator, you will:
* Manage day-to-day operations of the SEND Support provision on campus.
* Manage and support a team of dedicated SEND advocates, Inclusion Mentors and coaches.
* Work with the SENCO and the team to ensure that students' needs are regularly reviewed and that students are supported to have greater independence.
* Collaborate with the SENCO, local authorities, parents, and feeder schools, to ensure a proactive approach to the special educational needs assessment process and smooth transition into College for students
* To work with curriculum areas on delivering high quality individualised programmes to learners within the College environment that empower them to develop strategies to overcome their difficulties and promote independence.
