Office Assistant
The Office Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks, including IT support, stationary ordering, and general office management.
Working Hours:
We are open to considering applications for both a Full-Time and Part-Time role (Minimum 22.5 Hours per week). We are open to considering a full-time role for the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm, capability, and a strong fit for the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Support: Provide basic IT support to staff, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up workstations, arranging video conference facilities, and updating the internal intranet site.
2. Stationary Ordering: Manage inventory and order office supplies, ensuring that all departments have the necessary materials.
3. Administrative Tasks: Perform general office duties such as opening client files, filing, data entry, account creation, template changes, and managing correspondence.
4. Ad hoc Reception Duties: When required, greet visitors, answer phone calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and files, both physical and digital, e.g., archiving and file audit administration.
6. Office Maintenance: Ensure the office environment is clean, organised, and well-maintained.
7. Support Staff: Provide support to other staff members as needed, including assisting with special projects.
8. Desire to develop IT problem-solving skills in an office environment.
9. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
13. Proven experience in an office assistant or similar role.
