Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and a passion for delivering high-quality work. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
40-50 hours per week, fuel allowance + good rates of pay.
You will need the following:
* DBS
* CSCS
* 2391
* 18th Edition
Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to determine layout of electrical systems.
* Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
* Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.
* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local codes and regulations.
Skills
* Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools related to electrical work.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and safety protocols.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
* Good communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
