Are you an experienced Parts Advisor looking for a change of industry or a step away from regular weekend work?
Our client based in Stoke is seeking a Parts Advisor to join them on a permanent full-time basis, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm.
Responsibilities
As Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for:
1. Supporting the parts team
2. Answering incoming calls
3. Responding to messages
4. Taking parts orders over the telephone or over the trade counter
5. Exploring customer needs to identify correct parts required
6. Booking in parts delivery into stores and onto stock system
7. Making calls to existing and new customers to sell parts
8. Sourcing parts from suppliers
9. Processing job cards
10. Arranging manufacturer returns
11. Chasing customers for payment
12. Maintaining H&S in the front counter area and in the yard
13. Operating fork lift and all other parts department associated duties
Skills Required
Working as part of a team, you will:
1. Provide exceptional customer service at all times
2. Have previous experience of working in a parts or on a trade counter for at least 12 months, which is essential to be considered for this role
3. Be skilled in up-selling
4. Hold a clean driving licence, which is essential
5. Be available to work 2 in 5 Saturday mornings as overtime, which is required
Benefits
In return, our client is offering a salary of £26,000 - £27,000 plus the opportunity to do paid overtime, 22 days paid holiday, plus statutory holidays, pension, DIS, Company Sick Pay Scheme, additional employee benefits, and company uniform.
