One of our clients, a highly successful advanced thinking developer, is looking to appoint a Technical Coordinator to their already accomplished delivery team. The business turns over £800m+ and works across the full industry spectrum, adding value by managing schemes through the planning process, remediating brownfield land, and active asset management and development.
The Technical Coordinator Role
The position incorporates the following areas of responsibility:
1. Coordinating a design team.
2. Coordinating the design process using commercial, contractual, programme/time awareness, and technical expertise.
3. Supporting, understanding, and advising the client regarding the requirements and obligations in the development of a building design.
4. Ensuring the design process recognizes current legislation, standards, and codes of practice, where appropriate.
5. Ensuring design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescales.
6. Striving to eliminate health and safety risks during construction.
The Technical Coordinator will coordinate the design process from pre-construction through to final completion.
The ideal candidate will have a housing background either from a developer or a main contractor.
