Our client, a well-regarded primary school based in Bracknell Forest, Berkshire, is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil on a 1:1 basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey while gaining valuable experience within a supportive and nurturing school environment.
About the Role:
Providing 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with additional learning needs
Assisting with classroom activities and delivering tailored interventions
Supporting the pupil’s academic, emotional, and social development
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
Maintaining consistent routines and using strategies to promote positive behaviour
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary school
Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic with a genuine passion for education
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to build trusting relationships with children, staff, and families
