Are you a compassionate and experienced SEND teaching assistant looking for a new opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a mainstream primary school in Slough for a dedicated teaching assistant to support children with autism and speech & language needs.
The Role:
1. Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 4:00.
2. Supporting children with ASD and speech and language needs, both 1:1 and in small groups.
3. Encouraging engagement through creative and visual learning strategies.
4. Adapting support techniques to meet individual needs.
5. Assisting teachers in delivering tailored learning activities.
6. Promoting a positive, inclusive and structured learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Primary school experience, ideally with SEND.
2. A natural ability to build relationships and gain trust.
3. Patient, adaptable and creative in approach.
4. Strong behaviour management skills.
5. Minimum Level 3 UK qualification required.
