Pay, benefits and more:
You’ll be paid a salary of up to £29,000 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Take full responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse in your area, you’ll lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve challenging targets
* With good understanding of Health & Safety you’ll ensure operational processes are fully compliant with our policies, while accurately identifying risks and escalating your findings
* A strong communicator you’ll develop trusting relationships with your team and other first line managers
* You’ll also have a flexible approach to leadership that allows you to effectively organise and prioritise urgent and critical tasks
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* A proven track record at team leader level, within a fast-paced warehouse environment
* The ability to effectively lead, develop and manage a team, whilst identifying areas for development and recognising success
* A skilful planner and natural problem solver, you’ll be able to monitor performance against business standards, support resource and costs, enable your team to meet challenging performance targets and communicate effectively across all levels
* A good organiser with the ability to efficiently manage varied workloads, you’ll use your initiative to analyse and resolve any issues within your department
