We are currently hiring a Principal UX Engineer to join our team This role can be homebased and performed from anywhere in the UK. The successful candidate will design and develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces for our digital products. Key Accountabilities Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to visualize and test UI/UX concepts. Provide UI/UX recommendations for Business Intelligence applications like Power BI. Create and maintain style guides for reporting applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and stakeholders. Conduct user research to inform design decisions and validate design solutions. Develop and maintain design systems, standards, and guidelines. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Implement responsive design principles for seamless user experiences across devices. Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. UI/UX Requirements & Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field. 10 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development. Portfolio demonstrating UX/UI experience in web, applications and report design (Power BI / Tableau). Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and creativity. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing priorities. Experience with design systems and accessibility guidelines. Knowledge of back-end technologies and full-stack development. Familiarity with user testing and research methodologies.
