We are currently working with a Local Government Authority who are looking for a Financial Services Team Leader – Exchequer Services to support with leading and managing the Financial Services Function.
The Financial Services Function includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, income collection, bank reconciliation, VAT and Payroll.
Financial Services Team Leader – Exchequer Services
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 – 6 Months
Rate: £350 per day (Inside IR35)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid Working Arrangement (Leicestershire)
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the delivery, internal audit and further development of numerous software implementations including Unit 4, Proactis, AIM Pay360 and MHR
2. Support and drive the Exchequer team towards year end completion
3. Provide Audit support and enquiry responses
4. VAT systems and processes development, including internal audit
5. Oversee in the transition of admin controls and management of the overall function into the ICT
6. Deliver internal risk assessments for new software solutions in line with Government compliance
7. Oversee internal ICT integration mapping and controls in line with Cyber security workshops and documentation sign off
Requirements:
• AAT Accounts (or equivalent)
• Essential previous management of staff
• Experience working within Payroll
