The Directorate Support Manager will report directly to the Assistant Operational Managerto provide efficient and organised administrative and operational support. The role will involve supporting the Assistant Operational Manager in a range of duties including administrative support of the waiting lists, clinics and theatre capacity, supporting administrative processes across MSK and to be co-ordinated in order to deliver both governance and performance functions. Develop and maintain an effective and efficient administration service for the designated departments. Actively support the Assistant Operational Manager/Operational Manager in the delivery of the Trusts key performance targets. Liaise with teams within the department to facilitate improvement in quality of care. Actively support the service in identifying capacity and demand issues. Attend weekly waiting times meetings and represent the service in the absence of the Operational managers.
