You’ll deliver first class care to those in the community who might otherwise never visit a Boots store. You’ll be part of a unique service that prioritises the patient behind the parcel; this really is a role that offers so much more than other delivery roles. About the Role You will report into the Healthcare Logistics Manager. Your role involves providing outstanding customer care by delivering and collecting medicines from Care Homes, patients at home, GP surgeries, and other Boots stores within an allocated route time. You will ensure timely and accurate deliveries whilst following safety protocols. You will be provided with a vehicle maintained by Boots, along with training and equipment needed to work safely, including a handheld device for pre-planned routing and satellite navigation. Build great relationships with store teams, care homes, and GP surgeries. Follow standards, operating policies, and health and safety procedures. Drive safely and legally. Keep your vehicle maintained and clean, reporting any damage or issues. Feedback relevant customer comments and concerns and suggest improvements to operations. Be a proud ambassador for Boots Healthcare Logistics. What You'll Need to Have Essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role: Full training is provided. A minimum of 1 year’s driving experience. Able to read and interpret delivery routes and instructions. Enjoy following processes and working at pace to achieve service levels and targets. Physical stamina and capability to work in a manually demanding role with heavy lifting. Comfortable using new technology. Calm in the face of unexpected changes or challenges. Comfortable in new situations and meeting new people. A genuine desire to help people and provide legendary care.
