We are recruiting for a local Tewkesbury company who are looking to recruit an experienced finance administrator with excellent all round accounting experience to join their small friendly office team.
The role:
1. Using Xero to maintain accounts for multiple companies
2. Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers and bank reconciliations.
3. Preparation and submission of VAT return
4. Entering & processing data to correct ledger/nominal code
5. General accounts functions - preparing records for year-end submission to accountant
6. Assist in the production of financial reports and budgeting
7. Processing and managing card and cash payments
Requirements:
1. Previously experience working in an Accounts/Bookkeeper role.
2. AAT qualified or the equivalent by experience
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
4. Accuracy and attention to detail
This is a varied and interesting job and an important role within the business. As a valued team member, you will be working in a small team keeping all accounts and finances updated for the 3 divisions within the organisation. It is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant looking for a new opportunity to work in a company that values their people.
There will be an option to do some hybrid working after training.
Full time (35 hours per week) Monday to Friday; Salary c£30K
