An exciting opportunity has arisen for both full and part time Healthcare Support Worker posts to work as part of the clinical team within the Emergency Department (ED). The successful candidates will work under the direct supervision of the registered nurse and will be expected to undertake fundamental aspects of patient care including undertaking patient's vital signs and supporting nutritional needs.
The individual will be required to have good communication skills to be able to relate to patients, members of patients families and the multidisciplinary team that work within the clinical area.Informal visits are encouraged. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
